Duties:

• Lead and manage complex litigation cases from inception through trial or settlement
• Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve favorable results for clients
• Draft, review, and edit pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and depositions
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on a wide range of litigation matters
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and ensure optimal outcomes for clients
• Collaborate with junior attorneys and provide mentorship and guidance
• Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on case progress

Requirements:

• Litigation experience
• Strong track record of handling complex legal cases
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently
• Experience with trial preparation and courtroom litigation
• A small book of portable business is desirable
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a legal team
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• An active member in good standing with the California State Bar
