Duties:

• Conduct in-depth legal research using platforms such as Westlaw or Lexis

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda with precision and clarity

• Assist in preparing for hearings, depositions, and trials

• Coordinate with senior attorneys to shape case strategies

• Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff

• Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions when appropriate

• Organize and manage case files to ensure documentation accuracy

• Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to ongoing cases

Requirements:

• Active membership in the State Bar (Georgia preferred)

• Minimum of one year of litigation experience (preferred but not required)

• Demonstrated expertise in legal research and writing

• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and case management

• Comfortable handling court appearances and client interaction

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Bar admission in good standing (Georgia required or ability to waive in)

Skills:

• Proficient in using Westlaw or similar legal research tools

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
