Mid-Level Structured Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Structured Finance Associate Attorney for their Los Angeles, CA office.

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Structured Finance Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel and support in structured finance matters, including securitization and CLO transactions. The ideal candidate will possess 4-6 years of relevant experience and be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential for success in this role.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as:
  • Working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing.
  • Participating in digital/virtual conference calls.
  • Participating in meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in structured finance, securitization, and CLO transactions.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
• Big law firm experience preferred.
• Strong academic background from a nationally recognized school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in CA.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
