Duties:

  • Review property titles and resolve any title-related discrepancies or encumbrances

  • Draft and interpret legal documentation, including purchase agreements, leases, and deeds

  • Offer legal insight and support to clients on a range of residential real estate matters

  • Represent clients during closing proceedings

  • Liaise with realtors, lenders, title companies, and other involved parties to facilitate smooth transactions

  • Negotiate and resolve legal or transactional issues as they arise

  • Stay informed on evolving real estate laws and conduct legal research as needed

  • Ensure compliance with relevant local and state regulations throughout all stages of real estate deals

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Florida

  • At least 1 year of focused experience in residential real estate law

  • Familiarity with title search, review, and curative procedures

  • Notary Public Commission in Florida preferred

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills

  • Client-focused approach with strong responsiveness and adaptability

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida

  • Florida Notary Public (preferred)

Skills:

  • Proficiency in interpreting and resolving complex title issues

  • Strong drafting and analytical skills for transactional documents

  • Deep understanding of Florida real estate laws and closing protocols
