A law firm in Boise is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in trademark searching, global trademark strategy development, and domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement. Experience with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings is a plus. Superior writing and communication skills are essential, and foreign language proficiency is highly valued.

 

Job Duties:

  • Conduct trademark searches and analysis
  • Develop and implement global trademark strategies
  • Handle domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement matters
  • Assist with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings
  • Draft legal documents, including trademark applications, oppositions, and cease and desist letters
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties
  • Provide legal advice and counsel on trademark matters
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction
  • 2-5 years of experience in trademark law
  • Strong understanding of trademark law and procedures
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Superior writing and communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
