Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its New York, NY office. This fully remote position requires significant experience in handling complex litigation from inception to resolution. The role offers an opportunity for career growth and involvement in key client relationships.

Duties

  • Research and write legal memoranda, draft pleadings, and substantive motions.
  • Conduct large-scale document reviews and productions.
  • Prepare for trial or arbitration and engage in settlement negotiations.
  • Communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Participate in trials, depositions, and evidentiary hearings.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of litigation experience.
  • Experience with directors' and officers' cases, employment litigation, and class actions.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough.
  • Experience with state and federal courts preferred.
  • Admission to the New York Bar required.

Education

  • Strong academic background required.

Certifications

  • Admission to the New York Bar.
