Associate Attorney - Commercial Litigation

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its New York, NY office. This fully remote position requires significant experience in handling complex litigation from inception to resolution. Duties

• Research and write legal memoranda, draft pleadings, and substantive motions.
• Conduct large-scale document reviews and productions.
• Prepare for trial or arbitration and engage in settlement negotiations.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
• Participate in trials, depositions, and evidentiary hearings.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience with directors' and officers' cases, employment litigation, and class actions.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Experience with state and federal courts preferred.
• Admission to the New York Bar required.

Education

• Strong academic background required.
