Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced attorney specializing in civil and probate litigation to represent clients in complex legal matters, including real estate disputes, contract breaches, and business litigation. Duties:

  • Advocate for plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation cases.

  • Handle real estate disputes, including property rights and transaction conflicts.

  • Litigate cases involving fraud, contract breaches, and negligence claims.

  • Manage cases related to usury claims and disputes over excessive interest rates.

  • Resolve shareholder and partnership disputes through negotiation and litigation.

  • Represent clients in business litigation matters, including trade secret cases.

  • Develop legal strategies tailored to client needs.

  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.

  • Oversee discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories.

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation.

  • Proven ability to represent both plaintiffs and defendants effectively.

  • Strong background in real estate litigation, contract law, and negligence cases.

  • Experience handling business disputes, including trade secrets and corporate conflicts.

  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.

  • Trial experience with a strong courtroom presence.

  • High ethical standards and professionalism.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and work both independently and within a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
