A law firm in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Senior Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience representing lenders in debt financing transactions secured by real estate, as well as additional experience in land banking, mezzanine lending, preferred equity transactions, and/or additional financing structures. Large law firm experience is strongly preferred.

 

Duties:

  • Represent lenders in debt financing transactions secured by real estate.
  • Handle additional real estate finance transactions, including land banking, mezzanine lending, and preferred equity transactions.
  • Structure and negotiate financing agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including loan agreements, promissory notes, and security agreements.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients on transactional matters.
  • Advise clients on legal issues related to real estate finance.

 

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in real estate finance transactions.
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Minnesota.
  • Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.
  • Experience in sophisticated real estate finance transactions.
  • Large law firm experience strongly preferred.

 

Education:

Admission to the State Bar of Minnesota.

 

Skills:

  • Experience representing lenders in real estate finance transactions.
