A law firm seeks a Contract Appearance / Hearing Attorney specializing in Immigration Law in Houston, TX. Duties

  • Appear in immigration courts for various hearings and proceedings.
  • Accompany clients to USCIS interviews as needed.
  • Represent clients in both non-detention and detained matters.
  • Prepare and review case documents, coordinating with the central team.
  • Ensure timely reporting of hearing outcomes to the central team.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active bar license in the state.
  • Experience with immigration court proceedings or USCIS interviews.
  • Ability to manage your own schedule and communicate effectively with a remote team.
  • Reliable travel within the metro area for courthouse visits.
  • Excellent writing and advocacy skills.
  • Preferred: 1+ year of immigration-law experience.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish a plus).
