Duties:

  • Represent clients in civil litigation matters related to general liability, construction, and personal injury cases.

  • Manage a caseload of cases from inception through trial, including drafting motions, discovery, and preparing for hearings and depositions.

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and goals.

  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.

  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.

  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts as necessary to further the progress of cases.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of case law and industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • 3-8 years of experience in defense litigation, with a strong focus on general liability, construction, and personal injury law.

  • Proven experience managing cases independently, from discovery to trial.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
