A well-established law firm located in Nashville, TN seeks a passionate, client-focused attorney to provide representation in personal injury matters. The attorney will handle a dynamic caseload, offering legal advocacy for individuals harmed due to negligence or workplace incidents. The role involves litigation, client counseling, case evaluation, and coordination with medical professionals and other experts. Duties

  • Offer strategic legal counsel on personal injury claims, including workplace incidents and negligence-based injuries

  • Collaborate with case managers and legal staff to move cases efficiently through the litigation pipeline

  • Serve as the lead contact for clients, guiding them through every stage of their case

  • Evaluate case details to determine legal viability, value, and insurance coverage

  • Draft pleadings, settlement documents, contracts, and motions

  • Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, mediations, and trials

  • Communicate with healthcare providers and experts to build strong evidence-based cases

  • Maintain knowledge of evolving laws and apply legal precedent to active cases

  • Develop professional relationships with clients, referral sources, and external stakeholders

  • Take initiative in identifying opportunities for new case acquisition and business development

  • Participate in firm-led initiatives aimed at continuous learning and collaborative success

Requirements

  • Active law license in Tennessee, Kentucky, or New Mexico

  • Minimum of 2 years of legal practice

  • At least 1 year of experience in personal injury or related civil litigation

  • Willingness to travel locally (approx. 15%) for casework, client visits, and court appearances

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage a case from intake to resolution

  • Experience coordinating with legal support staff and guiding case progression

  • Strong written and verbal communication, including legal writing and public speaking

  • Willingness to meet clients in person and maintain ongoing client relationships

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university

Certifications

  • License to practice law in Tennessee (required)

  • Additional Bar admissions in Kentucky or New Mexico preferred

  • Admission to other states is considered an asset

Skills
