Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Patent Agent or Technical Advisor to join the Patent Prosecution & Litigation Practice Group on the Software and Electrical Engineering Team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patent preparation and prosecution, particularly in the areas of 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards, memory devices, and semiconductors.

Duties

  • Prepare and prosecute patent applications in relevant technical areas.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop patent strategies.
  • Conduct technical research to support patent applications.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
