Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate to join their team in Woodbury, Long Island. The successful candidate will engage in diverse legal matters, providing strategic representation in insurance coverage disputes.

Duties

• Litigate coverage disputes.
• Analyze insurance policies.
• Draft opinions, reservations of rights, and disclaimers.
• Advocate for clients across a broad spectrum of claims and disputes.
• Conduct court appearances, depositions, and motion practice.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, offering timely updates and strategic guidance.

Requirements

• JD degree with excellent academic credentials.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• At least one year of relevant experience preferred.
• Superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
