Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their General Liability group in New York, NY. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of litigation cases, including discovery, client correspondence, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.

Duties

• Advocate for clients in diverse insurance defense matters.
• Independently manage a full litigation caseload from filing to resolution.
• Conduct court appearances, depositions, and motion practice.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing updates and guidance.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the State of New York.
• Minimum of one year of experience in insurance defense and general liability litigation.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
