Job Overview

A nationally ranked law firm is currently seeking a Trademark Associate with at least 3 years of experience in trademark clearance and prosecution. This position offers the opportunity to work with prominent, name-brand clients on cutting-edge trademark matters. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. This is a full-time, on-site role with flexible location options across several major U.S. cities.

Location

  • Seattle, WA

Duties

  • Manage U.S. and international trademark portfolios

  • Conduct and oversee high-level trademark clearance and prosecution

  • Counsel clients on strategic brand protection, risk assessment, and enforcement

  • Draft and file necessary trademark applications, responses, and related documentation

  • Engage with clients in the entertainment industry (preferred)

  • Maintain and prioritize a high-volume docket across multiple jurisdictions

  • Collaborate with cross-office legal teams on complex IP matters

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of trademark experience focused on clearance and prosecution

  • Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English

  • Prior experience managing global trademark portfolios

  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment

  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong time-management skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

  • In good standing with relevant bar authority

Skills

  • Strong command of U.S. and international trademark law

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting skills

  • Critical thinking and strategic advising abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and client-relations skills

  • Bilingual legal communication (English/Spanish)

  • Experience working with clients in the entertainment sector (a plus)
