Senior Associate Attorney

A law firm in Houston, TX, is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with at least 7 years of experience in professional liability. The ideal candidate will have Partner-level potential and preferably possess a book of business. Duties:

• Represent clients in professional liability cases, including but not limited to malpractice claims, errors and omissions, and other professional misconduct matters
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Participate in all aspects of case management, including discovery, trial preparation, and court appearances
• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and tactics
• Maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of Texas in good standing
• Minimum 7 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on professional liability
• Demonstrated success in handling complex litigation matters
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
