Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Appellate Practice and Trial Support Associate Attorney to join its legal team in any of its office locations. This role requires four to six years of relevant experience, including appellate oral arguments and courtroom litigation support. The position offers a dynamic environment for attorneys interested in high-level legal strategy, trial preparation, and appellate advocacy. Location:

Duties:

  • Handle appellate oral arguments and draft appellate briefs

  • Argue legal motions and support trial teams during litigation

  • Participate in charge conferences and preserve the record during trial proceedings

  • Provide legal research and strategic analysis for complex trial and appellate matters

  • Collaborate with litigation teams to ensure accurate and effective case development

Requirements:

  • 4–6 years of experience in appellate practice and trial support

  • Demonstrated courtroom experience, including oral arguments and trial preparation

  • Prior judicial clerkship experience preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Strong academic credentials required

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal writing and research capabilities

  • Strong verbal advocacy and courtroom presentation skills
