Job Overview:

Duties:

• Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings involving employment disputes

• Handle administrative proceedings before agencies such as the EEOC and DOL

• Advise businesses and HR departments on compliance with employment laws

• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and memoranda

• Conduct employee training and offer preventative HR counseling

• Participate in internal investigations and audits related to employment practices

• Develop and implement litigation strategies under tight deadlines

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in labor and employment law

• Demonstrated litigation experience in employment-related matters

• Prior exposure to handling cases under Title VII, ADA, FLSA, and FMLA

• Strong legal research and persuasive writing skills

• Ability to manage multiple cases independently and effectively

• Admission to the Florida Bar

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar
