Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Boston, MA, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its litigation team. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with a strong background in legal writing and litigation strategy, particularly in the context of Daubert and Rule 702 motions. The role will involve working closely on matters related to pharmaceutical and medical device cases, with responsibilities spanning from discovery and case strategy to client communications and expert coordination.

Duties:

• Draft and review legal documents, including briefs, motions, memoranda, and discovery responses

• Support complex litigation strategy involving Daubert and Rule 702 evidentiary motions

• Collaborate with experts and oversee case-related research and analysis

• Supervise junior associates and contribute to their professional development

• Engage with clients to provide legal guidance and case updates

• Participate in depositions and assist with fact development

• Contribute to the design and implementation of the case strategy

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ litigation experience, preferably with exposure to large firm or high-stakes litigation environments

• Demonstrated expertise in legal writing, particularly relating to Daubert and Rule 702

• Experience handling product liability matters; background in pharmaceutical or medical device litigation strongly preferred

• Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts; attorneys admitted in New York are also encouraged to apply

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

• Academic credentials from well-regarded institutions

Certifications:

• Active bar admission in Massachusetts (or eligibility to waive in)

• Admission in New York is considered an asset
