Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Immigration Attorney in Austin, TX. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an attorney passionate about immigration law, providing exceptional client service in a supportive and collaborative environment. The position involves working with an experienced legal team on diverse immigration matters.

Duties

  • Prepare, review, and file employment-based immigration petitions and applications, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa cases.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients and corporate employers regarding immigration options and compliance.
  • Represent clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Labor (DOL), and other relevant agencies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and government officials to advance case progress.
  • Conduct legal research and stay current on immigration laws, regulations, and policy updates.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. state (Texas preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience practicing immigration law.
  • Experience with employment-based immigration (PERM, H-1B, L-1, TN, etc.) preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. state (Texas preferred).
