Duties:

  • Properly manage clients' expectations and provide education about the legal process with empathy.
  • Efficiently find and cite appropriate case law, develop strategies, and provide vigorous representation to clients.
  • Leave no stone unturned in advocating for clients' interests.
  • Conduct legal research to support legal arguments and strategies.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on complex cases.
  • Stay updated on changes in family law and legal developments.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience handling Divorce and Family Law matters.
  • Colorado Bar License.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality results.
  • Proficient in legal research and drafting.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload effectively.
  • Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
