A prestigious law firm is seeking a mid to senior level associate to join its Litigation Practice Group in Chicago. Duties

  • Represent clients in complex litigation matters across a range of industries

  • Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and strategic insight

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy

  • Manage discovery processes, including depositions, document review, and expert preparation

  • Appear in court and participate in hearings and trials as appropriate

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on litigation strategy and client management

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of litigation experience at a law firm or equivalent legal setting

  • Demonstrated experience managing substantive aspects of complex cases

  • Proven ability to work independently and within teams under tight deadlines

  • Admission to the Illinois Bar required

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Illinois Bar
