A law firm in Oakland, CA, is seeking a Bilingual Immigration Consultation Attorney with 7+ years of experience to conduct initial consultations, provide accurate legal advice in English and Spanish, and achieve weekly and monthly goals. The ideal candidate must stay updated on changing immigration laws, collaborate with the sales team, and demonstrate proficiency in various immigration processes. Duties:

  • Conduct 25-30 consultations per week in English and Spanish, approximately 5-6 consultations each day.
  • Provide accurate and consistent legal advice to clients during consultations.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly consultation goals set by the firm.
  • Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and policies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support business development efforts.
  • Utilize MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) for communication and documentation.
  • Learn new software quickly and troubleshoot independently as needed.
  • Win cases with a demonstrated track record of success within the team.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the State Bar.
  • 7+ years of immigration attorney experience with expertise in various immigration processes.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing professionally.
  • Experience bringing in business for an immigration law firm.
  • Comfortable working with MS Office and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
