Mid-level Sports, Media, and Entertainment Associate Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, California is seeking a talented Mid-level Sports, Media, and Entertainment Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in entertainment finance to join the team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience representing lenders, borrowers, and other parties in debt and equity financing transactions, particularly focused on music, film, and TV financings. Strong drafting and negotiating skills in senior secured lending within the entertainment industry are essential. A robust knowledge of substantive finance, entertainment, and copyright law is ideal. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.

Duties:

• Represent lenders, borrowers, and parties in financing transactions.
• Draft and negotiate agreements for senior secured lending in music, film, and TV.
• Apply knowledge of finance, entertainment, and copyright law.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of entertainment finance experience at a law firm.
• JD from a nationally recognized law school.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Strong academic background.
