A law firm located in Miami Shores, FL, is seeking a talented Litigation Associate Attorney admitted to the Florida Bar. The ideal candidate will possess effective leadership skills, be bilingual (Spanish), and demonstrate proficiency in managing high case volumes while adhering to firm policies and procedures.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in various stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, hearings, and trials.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy and case preparation.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, briefs, and other pleadings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Prepare for and attend court proceedings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
  • Manage case files, including organizing documents, tracking deadlines, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to support staff, including paralegals and legal assistants.

 

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing with the Florida Bar Association.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead and mentor junior team members.
  • Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage high case volumes while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Familiarity with electronic discovery tools and litigation support software is preferred.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Florida Bar.
