Casualty Associate Attorney

A law firm located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Casualty Associate Attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience. The candidate will litigate and lead in a variety of premises and retail liability, product liability, rideshare liability, construction defect and injury, public entity and civil rights, commercial auto and commercial trucking cases for Fortune 500 clients. Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills are required.

Duties:

• Litigate and lead in premises and retail liability cases.
• Handle product liability cases involving defective products.
• Manage rideshare liability cases.
• Handle construction defect and injury cases.
• Represent clients in public entity and civil rights cases.
• Handle commercial auto and commercial trucking cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
• Manage case files and documentation.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other proceedings.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in Florida.

Skills:

• Litigation experience.
