Location:

• Columbus, OH

Duties:

• Act as lead counsel on a variety of civil litigation cases in both state and federal courts

• Manage all aspects of the litigation process from case inception through trial and appeal

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

• Prepare for hearings, depositions, and trials, including strategizing and developing case theories

• Provide mentorship and supervision to junior attorneys, reviewing and revising their work product while providing constructive feedback

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement professional development and training initiatives for junior attorneys

• Maintain prompt and effective communication with clients regarding strategy, billing, and case objectives

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of civil litigation experience with proven trial success (Required)

• Minimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience with a demonstrated commitment to mentoring junior attorneys (Required)

• Strong litigation and trial skills, including experience with depositions, witness examination, and arguing motions (Required)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex legal concepts (Required)

• Active license in good standing to practice law in Ohio (Required)

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment (Required)

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively (Required)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school (Required)

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio (Required)
