Job Overview

A law firm seeks an International Employment Associate in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in employment counseling, with a preference for international experience. This role involves supporting cross-border and global employment work, interacting with various offices worldwide.

Duties

  • Conduct employment diligence and advise on employment aspects of corporate transactions.
  • Advise on employment policies and practices.
  • Draft and negotiate employment, retention, and related agreements.
  • Advise on reductions in force and other employee terminations.
  • Draft restrictive covenants and counsel on employee mobility.
  • Provide advice to clients ranging from emerging growth to Fortune 500 companies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of employment counseling experience, domestic and/or international.
  • Experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm preferred.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and good business judgment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Education

  • JD from a nationally recognized law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction of application.
