A law firm is seeking an Intake Attorney to join their team in Lubbock, TX. This role is pivotal in ensuring clients feel fully supported from their first interaction with the firm.

Job Overview:

  • Ensure clients receive compassionate and thorough service from the outset, setting the tone for their experience with the firm.
  • Facilitate Property Damage Claims and assist with claims processes to ensure swift and fair resolution.
  • Meet with clients at sign-up to establish strong relationships and provide personalized care.
  • Offer hands-on guidance in the early stages of cases, emphasizing the importance of treatment and care coordination.
  • Coordinate medical referrals promptly and follow up on them, escalating care as necessary.
  • Document life impact comprehensively for negotiations and litigation, including drafting demand injury and duties under duress paragraphs.
  • Coordinate communication between paralegals and clients to ensure seamless service and support.
  • Facilitate case management hand-offs effectively, maintaining continuity and quality of care.
  • Serve as the go-to support for clients, ensuring they always have a reliable point of contact within the firm.

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Texas, in good standing
  • Personal injury experience a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in client service, legal aid, or a related field
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
  • A deep sense of empathy and commitment to advocacy
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus
