A law firm in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking an Associate Attorney to handle various legal tasks including client meetings, deposition coverage, hearings, case file management, and legal research. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a Juris Doctorate degree, admission to the State Bar of Arizona, and proficiency with document review and case management software. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

 

Duties:

  • Meet and screen potential new clients.
  • Cover depositions and hearings.
  • Open new case files and manage case documentation.
  • Gain understanding of Workman's Compensation cases.
  • Research case-related factual issues using in-house files and outside sources.
  • Assist other Lawyers as needed.
  • Review medical records for relevant information.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Conduct consultations with clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate degree.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Arizona.
  • Proficiency with document review software.
  • Working knowledge and competency with case management software (preferred).
  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (preferred).

 

Education:

Juris Doctorate degree.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Arizona.

 

Skills:
