Job Overview

A fast-growing and innovative law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney to manage cases from inception to settlement. This role requires a highly motivated individual who thrives in a remote work environment while delivering exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in personal injury law, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a paperless system.

Duties

  • Manage all phases of personal injury cases from intake to settlement.

  • Conduct case investigations to determine liability and damages.

  • Draft and file necessary legal documents during the pre-litigation phase.

  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.

  • Provide clients with regular updates and exceptional legal guidance.

Requirements

  • Licensed attorney in Illinois and in good standing.

  • Minimum of 4 years of personal injury experience with a focus on pre-litigation.

  • Strong understanding of state laws, regulations, and legal procedures related to personal injury cases.

  • Proven ability to successfully manage cases and secure favorable outcomes.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Illinois State Bar.
