A law firm is seeking an Entry-level Guardianship Attorney to support the Senior Attorney in reviewing petitions and advocating for vulnerable individuals and their families. The role requires strong communication skills, legal acumen, and a commitment to ethical practice.

 

Duties:

  • Assist the Senior Attorney in reviewing guardianship petitions and related legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other stakeholders in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Advocate for the rights and interests of vulnerable individuals in guardianship proceedings.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure efficient case management and client representation.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

 

Requirements:

  • Active membership in the Maryland State Bar or eligibility for admission by reciprocity.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
