Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Associate to join its team in Pittsburgh, PA. The successful candidate will work on cases involving oil and gas litigation. Candidates must be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania or West Virginia. Familiarity with the practice area is preferred but not required.

Duties

• Engage in trial preparation and courtroom activities.
• Handle file responsibilities, motion practices, and depositions.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial litigation experience.
• Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Willingness to learn new areas of law.

Education

• Strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania or West Virginia.
