The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising clients on healthcare-related legal issues, including the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on healthcare regulatory compliance issues, including the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law.
  • Analyze healthcare regulatory, reimbursement, and fraud and abuse matters, offering expert guidance to clients.
  • Handle payor audits and assist in addressing and resolving audit findings.
  • Assist in healthcare fraud investigations, including conducting research, preparing legal documents, and representing clients.
  • Manage electronic discovery and document production in healthcare compliance cases.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop effective legal strategies and provide legal support.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance matters.
  • Working knowledge of the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law.
  • Experience analyzing healthcare regulatory, reimbursement, and fraud, and abuse issues.
  • Familiarity with healthcare fraud investigations and electronic discovery.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong legal research and analytical abilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of New York.
