Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Asset-Based Lending Finance Attorney to join its corporate department in Boston. The successful candidate will work with a diverse range of lender-side clients, including commercial banks and private credit funds, in complex asset-based lending transactions across various industries.

Duties

  • Represent financial institutions and private credit lenders in asset-based finance transactions.
  • Manage transactional workstreams, including structuring and negotiating deal documents.
  • Oversee transaction closings and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients in a high-performing practice.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in asset-based lending.
  • Familiarity with ABL structures and applicable legal regimes.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in a large firm or elite boutique preferred.

Education

  • Excellent academic credentials required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in good standing.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This large Boston firm has a surprisingly good government and regulatory practice, with the added bonus that their attorneys do not have to split their work with Washington DC lawyers in the same practice.
