Job Overview

A law firm seeks a PCT Associate to join its Private Client and Tax team in San Diego, California. The role involves working with high-net-worth individuals and families, providing integrated advice across borders in a compliance-focused environment.

Duties

  • Draft, edit, and review estate plans, trusts, and wealth transfer documents.
  • Administer complex trusts and prepare estate tax returns.
  • Conduct tax analysis and research.
  • Engage in cross-jurisdictional and international planning.
  • Participate in business development activities and build networks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in trust and estate, tax, or corporate law.
  • California Bar membership required.
  • Strong drafting, writing, research, and communication skills.

Education

  • J.D. required; Tax LL.M. is a plus.

Certifications

  • California Bar membership.

Skills

  • Familiarity with estate planning for high-net-worth clients.
  • Experience with tax planning and trust administration.
  • Exposure to philanthropic planning and charitable structuring is a plus.
