Duties:

  • Manage a docket of family law cases from intake through resolution

  • Handle client meetings and maintain consistent communication throughout each case

  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements

  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediation, and other legal proceedings

  • Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and ensure timely filings

  • Utilize legal technology and case management tools to support efficient practice

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience practicing family law

  • Ability to manage cases independently while contributing to a collaborative team

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Willingness to adapt and assist with varied tasks as needed

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Texas

  • Member in good standing with the Texas State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in legal software and productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Apple-based systems)

  • Ability to work with clients on emotionally sensitive family matters
