Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience to join its Business Law Department. This role involves handling a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity deals, and general business counseling. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work with a team of experienced attorneys in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Duties:

  • Manage and execute complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Provide legal counsel on private equity transactions and business operations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and corporate governance documents.
  • Collaborate with clients to address their business needs and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support corporate legal strategies.
  • Participate in negotiations and due diligence processes for business transactions.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of corporate law experience, preferably with exposure to mergers & acquisitions and private equity transactions.
  • Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and business counseling skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin or eligible to waive into the Wisconsin Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • High level of professionalism and client service orientation.

Job Location:

  • Milwaukee, WI (in-office presence required).
