Job Overview
A prestigious law firm is seeking a talented Senior Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Litigation group in Camarillo. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial litigation experience, including federal and state court experience, and will be expected to handle a variety of litigation matters in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Duties

  • Handle complex commercial litigation matters in both federal and state courts
  • Prepare legal briefs, motions, and other legal documents
  • Advise clients on litigation strategy and provide high-quality legal counsel
  • Manage case files and deadlines effectively
  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in all interactions
  • Assist with mentoring junior associates and paralegals as needed

Requirements

  • 20 years of commercial litigation experience, including experience in both federal and state courts
  • Law firm experience required
  • Federal court clerkship experience is a plus
  • Proven track record of handling complex litigation matters
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Admission to the State Bar required
  • Additional Bar admissions are a plus
