Business Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established and nationally recognized law firm is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic Litigation team. The role involves managing complex case work while providing occasional support for basic transactional work. Location:

• Phoenix, AZ

Duties:

• Handle case work, client meetings, and correspondence with clients and other attorneys
• Draft and argue pleadings
• Conduct discovery, including depositions
• Manage and support partnership disputes, business divorce, trademark infringement, breach of employment, sales, construction agreements, lease reviews, and breach of business agreements
• Address common legal claims such as breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference, conversion, and breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing
• Provide legal expertise and advice on a variety of business litigation matters

Requirements:

• Active member of the Arizona State Bar
• 3-5 years of experience for Associate Attorney position
• 5+ years of experience for Senior Attorney position
• Strong business and transactional experience is preferred
• Exceptional academic background and/or work experience in business or accounting is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in case management and legal research
• Expertise in business litigation, including contract disputes, fiduciary duties, and tort claims
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
