Cyber, Privacy, And Data Innovation Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Cyber, Privacy, And Data Innovation Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, and a proactive critical thinker with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Overview:

• Work on a robust pipeline of sophisticated, innovative, and industry-leading litigation, including class actions, across various clients in the firm's industry verticals of technology, finance, life sciences, and energy.
• Assume early and significant responsibility in managing all aspects of complex disputes and litigation, including working directly with clients, managing all aspects of discovery (with the support of the firm's industry-leading eDiscovery, Analytics, and Litigation Support team), taking and defending depositions, making court appearances and handling oral argument at key hearings, handling mediations, etc.

Duties:

• Work on a robust pipeline of sophisticated litigation, including class actions.
• Manage all aspects of complex disputes and litigation.
• Work directly with clients.
• Manage all aspects of discovery with support from the firm's eDiscovery, Analytics, and Litigation Support team.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Make court appearances and handle oral arguments at key hearings.
• Handle mediations.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience.
• Membership to CA State Bar.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent legal research abilities.
• Superb writing and oral communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Membership to CA State Bar.
