A law firm in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Technology and IP Transactional Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will specialize in life sciences transactions and possess a comprehensive understanding of technology and intellectual property matters within the realms of mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and strategic commercial agreements.

Duties:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of technology and intellectual property agreements, including but not limited to collaboration, license, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements.
• Provide legal counsel on life sciences transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct due diligence reviews for mergers and acquisitions involving technology and intellectual property assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate legal risks associated with transactions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and legal developments related to technology, life sciences, and intellectual property.

Requirements:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Utah State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• 3-6 years of relevant legal experience, with a focus on technology and intellectual property transactions.
