Job Overview

A growing personal injury law firm is seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney to join its team in Northglenn, CO. This role offers the opportunity to handle personal injury claims from intake through resolution and serve as the primary advocate for injured clients. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Duties

  • Manage personal injury case files from intake through settlement

  • Prepare and maintain case plans and monitor all phases of claim development

  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, expert witnesses, and insurance adjusters

  • Review and summarize medical records and other supporting documentation

  • Draft and revise legal documents including demands, motions, subpoenas, pleadings, and memos

  • Represent clients during mediations, depositions, and settlement negotiations

  • Strategize cost-effective resolutions that meet the client’s needs

  • Execute Attorney-Client contracts and handle new client intakes as needed

  • Maintain updated documentation in a paperless case management system

  • Stay up to date on personal injury legislation and participate in ongoing legal training

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Active license to practice law in Colorado

  • Experience in personal injury law (pre-litigation preferred)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

  • Active Bar license in the state of Colorado
