Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm located in Los Angeles, CA, is currently seeking a mid-level or senior associate to join its dynamic Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. The firm is known for its sophisticated litigation practice and requires a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, including significant involvement in false advertising and consumer class action cases. Duties:

• Handle all aspects of commercial litigation from the initial stages through to trials and appeals.

• Draft and prepare case evaluations, briefs, pleadings, motions, and other court-related documents for litigation and arbitration matters.

• Manage complex disputes, including supervising discovery (documents, written discovery, and depositions).

• Take and defend depositions, working closely with fact witnesses and experts.

• Collaborate with clients, experts, and co-counsel to develop case strategies.

• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft legal memoranda.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of complex litigation experience, specifically in false advertising and consumer class action matters.

• Strong case management and writing abilities with significant experience handling client and adversary interactions.

• Proven oral advocacy skills, including deposition and court experience.

• Preference for candidates with prior law firm experience.

• Federal District Court or Appellate clerkship is a plus.

• Licensed to practice law in California and good standing.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
