Job Overview:
A highly regarded boutique law firm located in Long Beach, CA is seeking a skilled mid-level Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload that includes business litigation, construction disputes, wage & hour claims, real estate matters, and estate planning/trust administration. Location:

  • Long Beach, California

Duties:

  • Handle litigation matters involving business disputes, employment law, real estate, construction, and related areas

  • Participate in trial preparation and represent clients in court and administrative hearings

  • Provide legal counsel in estate planning and trust administration matters

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence

  • Negotiate and review contracts and manage legal risk for clients

  • Collaborate with a cohesive legal team to ensure top-tier client service and case outcomes

  • Maintain a high standard of work product while meeting or exceeding monthly billable hour goals (minimum 1900 hours annually)

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, preferably with a focus on business, employment, construction, and/or real estate litigation

  • Ability to manage complex litigation independently and efficiently

  • Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed performance expectations

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality legal work in a fast-paced environment

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred but not required)

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of California

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication, writing, and analytical skills

  • Ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative team environment

  • Client-focused with the ability to build strong working relationships

  • Problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
