The candidate will work on matters involving business tort, contract litigation, and appellate brief research and drafting, representing financial institutions, developers, employers, corporations, and local government entities.

 

Duties:

  • Handle litigation matters involving business tort, contract litigation, and appellate brief research and drafting.
  • Review and analyze a myriad of legal issues.
  • Draft complaints, manage discovery, conduct depositions, and attend hearings.
  • Maintain membership in the Florida Bar in good standing.
  • Demonstrate exceptional research and writing skills.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and a desire for professional development.
  • Work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently while using sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with clients and colleagues.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar in good standing.
  • 4+ years of litigation experience.
  • Exceptional research and writing skills.
  • Strong work ethic and desire for professional development.
  • Ability to work well under deadlines in a changing environment.
  • Ability to manage relationships with clients and colleagues.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
