Network Infrastructure Transactions/Telecom Associate (Mid - Senior Level)

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid- to senior-level associate to join its telecommunications practice in San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will work with leading domestic and international clients in the digital infrastructure ecosystem, handling commercial, regulatory, and transactional matters.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate commercial infrastructure agreements, including terrestrial and subsea connectivity.
• Advise clients on licensing for satellite and spectrum initiatives.
• Provide regulatory guidance on telecommunications, wireless, and submarine cable matters.
• Conduct due diligence and structure commercial arrangements bridging technology and policy.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in commercial contracting and transactions.
• Experience in telecommunications, digital infrastructure, or technology sectors preferred.
• Strong commercial drafting and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with telecommunications regulatory frameworks is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in good standing.
