Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in New York City. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience handling cases from pleadings to trial in state Supreme Court or federal courts. Appellate experience is preferred but not required.

Duties

  • Manage all pre-trial aspects of complex real estate litigations.
  • Draft initial pleadings and conduct discovery.
  • Research and draft motions.
  • Conduct depositions and argue motions in court.
  • Engage in strategic decision-making and client interaction.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of litigation experience.
  • Experience in state Supreme Court or federal courts.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Confidence to appear in court.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in New York.
