Job Overview:
A national law firm is seeking a driven and skilled Commercial Litigation Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its litigation team in Austin. This position offers significant responsibility in all stages of litigation, direct access to partners and clients, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive and inclusive environment.

Location:

  • Austin, TX

Duties:

  • Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions

  • Prepare and respond to pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation filings

  • Take and defend depositions

  • Assist in developing and executing litigation strategies

  • Conduct legal research and write legal memoranda

  • Support all phases of litigation including trial preparation and court appearances

  • Collaborate closely with clients and team members throughout the case lifecycle

Requirements:

  • 3–6 years of commercial litigation experience

  • Demonstrated ability to manage litigation tasks efficiently and effectively

  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team setting

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

  • Admission to the Texas Bar is required

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas

Skills:
