Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Financial Services Transactional Associate Attorney to join their team in Washington, D.C. The successful candidate will work on innovative financial services and fintech transactions, supporting the firm's representation of banks, fintechs, merchants, and payment processors.

Duties

• Assist in managing components of financial transactions independently.
• Draft and review agreements related to payments and lending.
• Collaborate with clients on strategic partnerships in the financial sector.
• Provide legal support for cutting-edge fintech transactions.

Requirements

• Demonstrated interest in financial services and fintech.
• Familiarity with BaaS agreements, co-brand credit card agreements, and similar contracts.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Bar membership in New York or Washington, D.C.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in New York or Washington, D.C.
